Ticket Purchaser Terms

Role of Partiful; Payment Processing
Except as expressly stated herein, Partiful does not own, operate, host, sponsor, direct, or control any event listed on the Service. The applicable Organizer is solely responsible for the event, including its quality, content, performance, cancellation, postponement, safety, and legal compliance. Ticket Purchaser will pay all fees disclosed to you when purchasing Tickets through the Service.
Partiful uses Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates (“Stripe”), a third-party payment processor, to process payments in connection with each Ticket sale. These payment processing services are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe terms and conditions and other policies available at https://stripe.com/legal and Stripe’s Global Privacy Policy available at: https://stripe.com/privacy (collectively, the “Stripe Agreements”). By agreeing to this Agreement, Ticket Purchaser agrees to be bound by the Stripe Agreements, as the same may be modified by Stripe from time to time. In connection with each Ticket purchase transaction, Ticket Purchaser acknowledges that the Organizer has appointed Partiful and Stripe as its agent in receiving the amount of Ticket price from Ticket Purchaser. Payments received by Partiful and/or Stripe constitutes payments received by the Organizer, and Ticket Purchaser is not obligated to make separate payments to the Organizer for the amount that Ticket Purchaser remits to, and is received by, Partiful and/or Stripe.
Ticket Purchaser represents and warrants that any payment information entered on Partiful’s site for purchasing Tickets is true, complete, and up-to-date, and that Ticket Purchaser is authorized to use the payment method to purchase Tickets on Partiful’s site. Ticket Purchaser authorizes Partiful or Stripe to charge Ticket Purchaser’s payment method for the Ticket prices and fees.
Price, Fees, and Taxes
The Ticket price displayed on the event page will be the total amount charged, including applicable service fees. Applicable taxes (if any) will be displayed at checkout and are payable as indicated.
All Sales Final; Refunds
Unless the ticketed event is canceled, the event listing states otherwise or applicable law requires a different outcome, all Ticket purchases are final and non-refundable. Depending on the reason of order cancellation, Partiful’s service fees may be non-refundable.
Transferability and Resale
Tickets are non-transferable. Resale of Tickets through third-party marketplaces is expressly prohibited.
Ticket Use and Entry
A Ticket grants the Ticket Purchaser specific access to the applicable ticketed event. A Ticket is valid for one admission unless stated otherwise. You are prohibited from duplicating or sharing any Ticket. Organizers, venues, and their agents may require proof of identity or proof of purchase upon entry. Partiful is not responsible for admission decisions made by Organizers or venues.
Delivery and Fulfillment
Tickets will be made available through the Service with a in-app ticketing interface or through any other delivery methods as identified through the Service. You must provide accurate contact information to receive Tickets or any communications relating to your Tickets, and Partiful is not responsible for delivery delays caused by incorrect information or third-party delivery failures.
Chargebacks and Disputes
If you have a billing dispute, please contact Partiful at hello@partiful.com. If you charge back a purchase for which you are not entitled to a refund under these Purchaser Terms and event-specific terms, you understand and agree that you will remain liable to Partiful for such charged back amount. Partiful reserves the right to pursue a legal claim against and recover such amount from you, to the extent not prohibited by law (including by offsetting any credits associated with your account, or suspending or terminating your account).
Disclaimers
You acknowledge that Ticket availability may be limited, the applicable Organizer may limit quantities, and Partiful may cancel or refuse orders for any reason (including suspected fraud or policy violations). Partiful reserves all rights to prevent or reverse purchases that violate these Purchaser Terms. Partiful does not guarantee (i) the accuracy of the event descriptions, (ii) the quality, safety, legality, or suitability of any event, or (iii) that an event will meet your expectations. All events are provided by Organizers, not by Partiful.
Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that attendance at events may involve inherent risks, including risk of personal injury, illness, property damage, or other harm. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with attending an event. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release the Partiful Parties from any and all losses, damages, actions or claims arising out of or relating to:
The acts or omissions of Organizers, venues, or third parties;
Event cancellation, postponement, or modification; and
Personal injury, property damage, or other loss occurring at or in connection with an event.
Nothing in these Purchaser Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
Suspension; Termination; Survival
Partiful may suspend or terminate your ability to purchase Tickets or access the Service if you (i) violate these Purchaser Terms or the General Terms, (ii) engage in fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful conduct, or (iii) initiate improper chargebacks.
The provisions relating to payment obligations, chargebacks, disclaimers, and assumption of risk survive any termination of your account.
