Legendary producer Tony Berg will sit down with Tyler Chester to discuss and listen to one of his favorite records, “Beggars Banquet”. ————— Tyler Chester is a Grammy Award winning producer, session musician, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and studio owner. In the early 1990s, Berg became an A&R executive with Geffen Records, where he played a role in signing artists including Beck, Wild Colonials, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, and At the Drive-In. During this time he continued to produce records and play on a wide variety of releases, among them Peter Gabriel's Up. Berg’s career as a record producer first garnered attention with the release of Michael Penn’s debut album, March. This was followed by productions of music by Aimee Mann, The Replacements, Squeeze, Public Image Ltd, Wendy & Lisa, Edie Brickell & The New Bohemians, and X. In 2004, Berg founded, 3 Records, with industry veteran Michael Rosenblatt and producer Eric Valentine. Their first release was Mellowdrone's Box. Berg has owned and run Zeitgeist Studio in Los Angeles since 1985, which served as the incubator for dozens of Los Angeles-based recording artists, including Dawes and Phantom Planet. In 2018, Berg and Mills took over the lease for Sound City Studios in Van Nuys. There, Berg has produced recordings by Phoebe Bridgers, Sarah McLachlan, Bruce Hornsby, Katie Gavin, Amythyst Kiah, Fiona Apple, Nina Gordon, boygenius, Molly Tuttle, Victoria Canal, Andrew Bird, and Switchfoot.

Come play an intense in person game of Traitors in the park! This will not be a sit around in a circle and play Mafia game day… …This will be a full fledged game with battles for shields, advantages, and power in the game full of twists and turns. Did I mention eliminated players have a chance to impact the game? 😈 That and so much more revealed on the day! There are only 24 spots. Once those are solidified, no more spots will open up. So, RSVP quickly. 12PM - Arrive at specific location in Griffith Park for mingling and getting to know your competition to decide who you trust…and who you don’t… 1PM-5PM - “Traitors By Daylight” DRESS CODE: Wear whatever you’d like! Traitorous? Glamorous? Comfortable? All are welcome! Just keep in mind that we will be in a park and some of the challenges require moving around. So, don’t wear your grandmothers wedding dress. There is a $15 buy in which will provide event materials, game materials, and the prize pot for the winner(s) This is BYOB friendly, so if you would like to bring seltzers, beer, or wine that is COVERED and not obvious, please feel free. But this is not a sloppy toppy, white girl wasted event. So, keep your wits about you, be respectful, and be responsible. If there is anything additional or specific that you would like to bring like blankets, your favorite snacks, or whatever your heart fancies…also feel free! Please reach out with any questions!
