MONEY MOVES: The Future of Dance
Fri, Feb 13 5:30pm
· England
The dance industry is built on discipline, creativity, and resilience, yet too often, dancers are expected to navigate complex contracts, inconsistent pay, and unsafe working conditions without the tools, language, or support to protect themselves. Despite being highly skilled professionals, many dancers enter jobs without full clarity around their rights, their worth, or the long-term impact of the choices they are asked to make. Money Moves exists to change that. In collaboration with Equity UK, Steps Studios UK, and Share Talent Management, this event is designed to create a space where dancers can openly engage with the realities of professional work, from pay and contracts to advocacy, wellbeing, and career sustainability. What to Expect: A panel discussion featuring Equity, Share Talent Management, and Steps Studios UK A musicality workshop powered by Samsung technology, led by Steps Studios UK A practical workshop on rates, contracts, and negotiation delivered by Equity UK. Key Takeaways A clear understanding of your rights as a dancer and the standards that should protect you on every job Practical tools to identify unfair pay, unsafe conditions, and problematic contract clauses Confidence to advocate for yourself in negotiations and professional conversations Insight into how stress, breath control, and physiological response impact performance and stage presence A deeper understanding of how technology can support both career planning and performance readiness. Who is it for? The event is aimed at pre-professional and professional dancers, freelancers, and early-career creatives working across stage, commercial, and screen. Attendees include: Dancers navigating auditions, contracts, and freelance work Dance students preparing to enter the professional industry Creatives seeking sustainable, long-term careers in dance Industry allies and mentors invested in ethical working practices Why You Should Attend Because talent alone is not enough to sustain a career. This event is designed to give dancers clarity, confidence, and control over their work, their bodies, and their futures. You’ll leave with practical knowledge you can apply immediately, tools you can reuse long after the event, and a stronger sense of agency in an industry that often relies on silence and uncertainty. Beyond the information, this is a space to connect with peers, learn from trusted organisations, and experience how innovation and technology can actively support dancers. If you care about building a career that is not only creative but fair, informed, and sustainable, this event is for you. Powered by STUDIO 27° is the dancer-only casting platform built to streamline how professional dance talent is discovered. We offer quality-controlled dancer profiles, providing casting directors, agents, and industry leaders with direct access to dance artists across various disciplines. Alongside castings, we support dancers seeking space, structure, and community through our hybrid memberships. We’re here to reshape the future of dance by democratising access to opportunities, resources, and support, so dancers can build careers that prioritise their health, growth, and professional development. This event is in partnership with Samsung KX, showcasing how technology can empower dancers’ craft and careers through immersive tech.

Sleep Deeply: An Experiential Workshop for Better
Sat, Feb 7 5pm
· England
A gentle, practical workshop exploring how to support better sleep through nervous system regulation and embodied experience. Sleep affects how we think, feel, work, and relate, yet very few of us are ever shown how to sleep well in a way that truly supports our nervous system. This in-person workshop offers a calm, thoughtful space to explore sleep from the inside out. Rather than focusing on tips, hacks, or rigid routines, the session centres on understanding how the body moves into rest and experiencing practices that help that process unfold more naturally. Led by sleep specialist and Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist, Denise Iordache, the workshop blends gentle sleep education with guided, evidence-informed practices drawn from mindfulness, CBT, and hypnotherapy. A short, accessible educational section will help demystify sleep and common patterns of insomnia, while most of the time is devoted to experiential exercises you can feel, reflect on, and return to at home. The focus throughout is on nervous system regulation and learning through experience. You will be guided through practices that support relaxation, reduce nighttime alertness, and help the body transition more easily into sleep.

Creating Your 2026 Vision Board
Sun 3pm
· England
A guided afternoon of reflection and creative vision boarding to shape your hopes and intentions for 2026. The beginning of a new year is a meaningful moment to pause and reflect on what you want to bring into your life. This in-person vision-boarding workshop is facilitated by Dr Nicole Nasr, therapist and founder of Journey. The session is gently guided from start to finish, offering structure while leaving space for your own pace, reflections, and questions along the way. Through guided reflection and creative work, you will begin shaping a vision for 2026 that feels personal and grounded. Vision boarding is approached as a reflective practice, using images and words to explore your hopes, values, and direction for the year ahead. You are welcome to ask questions at any point during the process, whether about the exercise itself or what you are noticing as you create. We want this to be as reflective of a practice as possible. The afternoon closes with a guided meditation to help you connect emotionally with what you have created and carry those intentions forward. Who is this experience for? This session is open to anyone who wants to begin the year with intention and support, including: People who wish to receive guidance while reflecting on the year ahead Those who enjoy creative and reflective practices are held with care Anyone wanting space to explore hopes and direction with a therapist present People who value a calm, thoughtful group environment No creative experience is needed. What will you take away? Create a personal vision board for 2026 Spend dedicated time reflecting on what matters most to you Be guided and supported by a therapist throughout the process Experience a closing guided meditation to anchor your intentions Leave with something tangible you can return to throughout the year All materials will be provided, including magazines, scissors, and glue.
