Back by popular demand! Austin Unconducted & Hyde Park Storytelling are joining forces for a 2nd time for unforgettable pairing of live music & live storytelling! Three storytellers share true, personal stories and each story is thematically paired with a musical performance chosen to mirror, deepen, or transform the emotional arc of the story just told. There is limited space in Batch's backyard. We encourage folks to arrive early to claim a place to sit. What if you're trying to solve your problems with the same kind of frantic looking? And a shift in perspective could reveal the answer? Drawing on Iain McGilchrist's study of how the two hemispheres of the brain live in LEGIT DIFFERENT WORLDS, this workshop will explore the link between perception and transformation. Through a series of games, you will experiment with different ways of looking at something that troubles you. Discover how shifting your perspective opens new possibilities. They were there all along!
