Queer Ceramics Handbuilding Class
Next Mon at 6:30pm · We Are Ceramics Studio 44-02 23rd Street, 3rd Floor Long Island City, Queens
Join us for an evening of clay, creativity, and queer community as you learn the fundamentals of handbuilding and create your own unique ceramic piece.
During this workshop, you'll be guided through foundational handbuilding technique:
- Slab building to make a small candle holder but you can also make other things
You can create pieces such as:
- Jewelry dishes
- Decorative bowls
- Coasters
- Key trays
- Small sculptural objects
No prior experience is needed. All materials, tools, clay, glazing, and firing are included.
After the workshop, your finished piece will be clear glazed, professionally fired, and ready for pickup approximately 15 business days later.
