Best Friends Illuminated: An Art Experience
Wed at 7pm
· San Francisco
It’s the thing we reach for before we even know we're reaching. It accompanies (haunts?) our waking moments, and many of our sleeping one. It’s our trusty tool. Our worst addiction. The rectangle we just can’t quit. It’s our best friend. April 29, Tillage is hosting something rarer than sunshine in the Sunset in August: a tech-free art experience. Come meet Matthew Stansell, the painter behind Best Friends Illuminated, featuring people on their phones + nighttime scenes of SF. His paintings don't scold. They linger. They ask you to pause, be present, and perhaps to notice something different. To see something new amidst a familiar scene. When you arrive, you'll be handed a printed guide — poetry, provocations, & quiet questions to ponder as you engage with the art. Pour a drink. Sit with the paintings. Sit with yourself. Then find a neighbor and compare notes: the conversations waiting for you here are the ones that only happen IRL. Which means (and we absolutely mean this), no phones allowed. Leave your phone at home or check it in at the door. No, we won’t strip search you if you try to sneak your phone inside, but do you really want to be that person? This event is free and open to the neighborhood. Our little gift to San Francisco. Space is intentionally limited so pre-registration is required. Come be illuminated.

BOOF: flirty800 b2b DJ USA (DANCE + DARK ROOM)
Fri, May 8 at 10pm
· San Francisco
BOOF is a queer-led underground. Come to move, connect, explore, watch, participate, or just lose yourself in the room. All expressions of gender, sexuality, race, and style are welcome here. In two years, BOOF has grown into one of San Francisco’s most vital queer nightlife spaces by building something immersive, high-energy, and fully our own. BOOF — FRI, MAY 8 ⛓️ DANCE + DARK ROOM 😈 📍 The Foundry SF — 1425 Folsom St 🕙 10P → 4A 📸 IG @boof.party BOOF returns to The Foundry. Two dance floors and a dark room. ⛓️💥 ABOUT THIS EVENT After sustained operational excellence in underground indulgence and several quarters of spiritually dubious nightlife production, BOOF returns to The Foundry to once again optimize your evening into a high-output, low-regret sensory experience. Leveraging two fully activated dance floors and a strategically underlit dark room environment, we invite you to participate in a vertically integrated night of sweat, sound, and poor decision-making. In an increasingly crowded nightlife marketplace, BOOF asks: what if the function was the dysfunction? what if the dance floor dissolved and no one was watching anyway? what if we stopped pretending this was about anything other than the music—and each other? This is a no-spectator environment. Engagement is mandatory. Observation is discouraged. 🖤 VIBE dark, sweaty, charged no spectators — only participants

Petty disputes. Over-the-top defenses. You decide who’s guilty of being THE A*HOLE. 👩⚖️No-drink minimum, early bird discounts available! 👩⚖️ Think Judge Judy meets stand-up comedy—except the cases are way dumber (but equally entertaining). The CROWD-FAVORITE comedy show where two comics go head-to-head arguing for-and-against your most absurd, everyday disputes and YOU are the jury on whether who is the a*hole. See clips from our past shows on Instagram, @amitheaholecomedy HOW THIS SHOW WORKS 📝 Submit your pettiest problems anonymously at the venue before the show starts. 🎭 Diverse lineup of 3-4 best comics in the Bay Area - as seen on Cobb’s Comedy Club, SF Sketchfest, Punch Line San Francisco, Netflix is a Joke Festival, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and more - will argue both sides like chaotic courtroom lawyers. You can expect: - dramatic monologues - questionable logic - comedians getting way too invested in strangers’ drama 💡 Then the power shifts to you. The audience is the jury. You decide who’s guilty of being THE A*HOLE. Hosted by Elisha Tan, a Singaporean comedian based in San Francisco known for her sharp, playful comedy about culture, identity, and navigating life in America. She has performed across the U.S., U.K., Europe, and Asia, including the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Punch Line San Francisco, and Cobb’s Comedy Club. Come for the comedy. Stay for the petty justice.

The Greatest Spectacle in San Francisco
Fri, May 22 at 6:30pm
· San Francisco
Do you like art? Do you like parties? Do you like making questionable decisions on a Friday night? Perfect—you’ll fit right in at ArtPärdē. We’re back on Friday, May 22nd at the Verdi Club, bringing you a curated mix of dance, music, comedy, circus acts, and whatever else we can get away with. This is our 10th show since 2022—so yes, we’re basically a legacy institution now. Expect a lineup of wildly talented returning favorites and fresh new faces who are about to become your next obsession. Theme of the night: circus. Interpret that however you want—glam clown, unhinged ringmaster, emotional support acrobat. Just don’t show up boring. But do show up hungry! Dinner and drinks available for purchase. Grab your tickets at artparde.com and creep our past shows while you’re at it. We’re a nonprofit art salon, which means your ticket money goes straight to the artists (not some guy named Chad in a boardroom). Nothing but love, Bethany and Meghna xoxo
Keychain Workshop @ Buoy Cafe (Session 2)
· San Francisco
We're so excited to bring you Keychain Workshop, a hands-on design event where you'll go from a simple sketch to a 3D printed keychain you keep. Won & friends is hosting an evening of creativity, making, and good vibes at Buoy Cafe. Whether you've never thought about design before or you do it every day, this one's for you. Here's how the night works: you'll answer a few questions about yourself, sketch out an idea, watch it come to life through AI rendering, and walk away with a custom 3D printed keychain made just for you, by you. Join us for an evening of making something real. All are welcome. Please make sure to send $40 via Venmo (@nodaved) if you RSVP — if you do not pay, you will not be able to participate in the workshop. Thank you! --- **The Night** 7:30 PM — Doors open, mingle & settle in 7:45 PM — Design lecture with Won: what is design, and how do you find yours? 8:00 PM — Workshop begins: sketch, render, and finalize your keychain design 9:20 PM — Designs submitted for printing 9:30 PM — That's a wrap! --- *Your 3D printed keychain will be mailed to you by Won within 2 weeks after the event.* --- **April 27, 2026** 7:30PM – 9:30PM @Buoy Cafe, San Francisco **Powered by Vizcom**
