Blair Borax & Stefan Weiner SPRING TOUR
Thu, Apr 30 at 7:15pm
· San Francisco
Queer Arts Featured is proud to present an intimate performance by Blair Borax & Stefan Weiner with Liana Warren. Live in the living room! Tickets are $20 - 30 dollars sliding scale, with payment required upon RSVP. Please pay what you can, so we can continue to bring you special nights like this! Doors at 7PM. Show at 730PM. Wheelchair accessible. About the Artists: Stefan Weiner is a Brooklyn-based queer indie folk singer-songwriter. A Top Shelf finalist in NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest 2024, Stefan creates a musical space for people to access a deeper vulnerability. How Lucky You Are, Stefan’s debut full-length album, came out last year on Better Company Records. Liana Warren is a singer-songwriter based in Oakland, California. Her work is marked by her intimate honesty, robust lyricism, intricate fingerpicked guitar, and energetic emotionality compared to the likes of Joni Mitchell, Adrianne Lenker, and John Prine. Previously performing as "Liana For Now," she reflects on temporality and change in the messy beauty of existence. Born on the East Coast, and home to the West, Blair Borax’s relationship with music began unexpectedly in 2016, when a friend gifted her a cheap guitar. Since then, Borax has become a prolific songwriter, recording artist, and performer, known for her distinctive voice, captivating melodies, and thoughtful songwriting that taps into the heart of being human. Her third full length record, The Color Green (2025) is a collection of ten songs searching for hope in dystopian times. Fans of Adrianne Lenker, Hannah Cohen, and Angie McMahon may find something to love in her music.

Dasein AI Film Festival
Sun, Apr 26 at 6:30pm
· San Francisco
Dasein AI Film Festival Cinema at the Edge of Human and Machine Being What does it mean to exist in an era shaped by artificial intelligence? The Dasein AI Film Festival is a curated screening event focused on short films that engage with questions of consciousness, identity, memory, and human–machine relations through the use of AI. Inspired by the concept of Dasein the awareness of one’s presence and relationship to the world the festival presents works that examine how emerging technologies influence perception, authorship, and cinematic form. We highlight filmmakers who use cinema as a space for exploration rather than spectacle. Films that reflect on how images are made, how stories are shaped, and how meaning shifts when human and algorithmic processes intersect. The evening is structured as a shared viewing experience followed by conversation and connection among artists, jury members, and guests. PROGRAM FORMAT • Curated short film screenings (most of them under 5 minutes) All selected winners receive official laurels and festival spotlight features. www.daseinfilmfestival.com

This easy fast varied course scenery is content gold. DONATIONS of course greatly appreciated: account.venmo.com/u/fennel-wolcott-doyle ++++++++++++++++++++++ ++++++++++++++++++++++ Why District 5 Weather Reporters (D5WR)? It is our honor to present this unmatched urban Third Place, rich with wildlife, after 6+ years of D5WR advocacy efforts, in accordance with 8-80 Cities design principles: https://www.880cities.org Our San Francisco city Green Beltway goes from Tenderloin/Fillmore inner-city to the breath taking expansive Pacific ocean surf beach coastline shore of monumental ancient sand dunes. Fennel Doyle, who created D5WR -- a STEAM crusade to boost regenerative energy, modal shift & the green economy -- was nearly murdered on this very route 14 years ago. She is a NYC Parsons School of Design Dean's List graduate, NCAA Division 1 Ivy League Champion (with Brown University Women's Soccer team), road runner, scuba diver, dancer and acclaimed solar punk artist. She was hit by a car driver (AKA "Death Monster") which broke both her legs simultaneously, while she was going to Ocean Beach, to catch the Men's World Surf Competition of American OG Kelly Slater vs rising Brazilian superstar Gabriel Medina. She was released from the hospital on 11/11/11, bionic, with a titanium right leg. Luckily, Fennel fully recovered from the crash, and was able to reproduce a child. In 2020, Fennel created D5WR when schools closed during COVID for 2 years. "In the dark shadow of death*", Fennel and her (then 7 YO) son began going to the beach park together seeking life, energy, and observation-based learning flow state, as school. D5WR campaigned tirelessly to unlock the path for all, forever, to create health for future generations, and particularly for Black & broke folks living in the city. Health = Wealth. We go hard to clear our minds and ideate. We keep going. We hold space for youthful freestyle regenerative energy to compound peace. https://www.strava.com/athletes/67012557 #carfreeisSEXY "Aren't You Tireddddddddd?" - Kendrick Lamar "Make up is science" - Kryolan "Let's work" - Prince *Wu-Tang Clan We acknowledge the importance of Native American Ohlone stewardship of this land horticulture for 10,000+ years. As well as the need for grassroots action, community empowerment, and the deep connection between environmental health and social well-being, as exemplified by the powerful legacy of the Green Belt Movement's founder, Wangarĩ Maathai, in Kenya. D5WR is proud to share our core beloved city green pathway with you and yours. We recently transformed some of the deadliest city streets into the most vibrant accessible efficient streets — safe for all living beings (including DT SF office commuters). #B2Bsempre inspired by: M-PESA, Straus Family Creamery, American-Kenyan farmer Kelis, Farming for Hope, Walk SF, SF Bay Area Families For Safe Streets, Rich City Rides, Church of Eight Wheels, Streets Forward, Bike Bus World, Streets For All, Bay Area Outreach and Recreation Program (BORP), Nature in the City, SF New Farm, Westside Collective, and SambaFunk Arts. Hosted by Negus In Nature Coffee & Climb is a community-centered gathering that brings people together through conversation, reflection, and movement. We begin the morning with coffee and connection before transitioning into a guided climbing experience designed to be welcoming for all levels. This space is open to everyone. Whether you’re a coffee lover, an experienced climber, or trying something new for the first time. No prior climbing experience is required. Participants are encouraged to move at their own pace, ask questions, and engage in a way that feels comfortable. We’ll meet at Kinfolx at 10:00 AM for coffee, journaling, and introductions, then head to Great Western Climbing Gym at 11:00 AM for climbing and community building. As this event continues to grow, we invite those with experience to step into support roles — especially belayers — to help get more people safely up on the wall. We are also looking for volunteers to assist with setup and breakdown, as well as community members interested in co-hosting future gatherings. What to bring: Comfortable clothing Water bottle Journal (optional) A willingness to connect $20 for day pass Free for touchstone members Coffee & Climb is about building confidence, trust, and community.
