A lot of queer people never really got the chance to fully express ourselves as our fully realized selves growing up. So I wanted to create a Picture Day for us now. A space to document who we are, who we’ve become, and the versions of ourselves we dreamed about for so long. Come in your best whatever-that-means-to-you. Using locally and responsibly sourced natural materials, you'll learn the key beginner techniques to be able to weave your very own beautiful, functional basket. You'll be starting your basket with a drilled base, using a pine branch "tree cookie" which is considered to be more beginner-friendly and accessible than the traditional coil start.
